It’s tough at any age to learn how to stop
cracking when singing. But for teenage boys going through their vocal
change, it may be harder than any other time in life. In this video you’ll see 16-year-old Lex
singing exercises at three different times over a 12-month period. Watch him do special vocal exercises to stop
cracking. Hi, I’m Chuck Gilmore, International Vocal
Coach and Founder of Power To Sing. For amazing vocal technique to build a powerful
and confident singing voice, please subscribe and hit the bell to get notified when I post
a video every week! In this video you’ll see Lex singing exercises
at three different times over a 12 month period. A yellow circle on the upper left is the first,
a blue circle is nine months later, and three months later is a red circle representing
a year from the first recording. Notice his progress from the first to the
ninth month. Then listen to what he’s accomplished at
month twelve. For a real surprise listen to the very end
of his singing. eeeeeeee
Once again, amazing kid, what he’s doing.C#5 down to the C#2, connected, way to go! Thank you Can you hear Lex’s progress from video to
video? Let me know by typing “yes” or “no”
in the comments section below this video. I want to hear your comments. I couldn’t sing into my head voice like
Lex until I found out about this technique when was 43 years old. It’s not easy to do what Lex is now accomplishing
in his voice as bass at age 16. However, he’s doing vocal exercises for
his vocal type, Pulled Chest-High Larynx. These exercises, combined with his hard work,
are causing him to succeed. Do you know your vocal type? Your vocal type is not whether you’re a
soprano, alto, tenor or bass. You vocal type describes how you tend to sing
from your low to your high voice. Maybe you’re a Pulled Chest-High Larynx
vocal type like me and Lex. To discover YOUR vocal type, download this
PDF, “Get Your Vocal Type”. You can get it here or in the description
below this Youtube Video. This PDF contains links to a vocal test, videos
about your vocal type and links to exercises for your vocal type. These special exercises for vocal types have
worked for 1000’s of singers. Now it’s time for them to work for you. If you’re through with your vocal change,
your progress can be rapid. If you’re in your teens and your voice is
still changing, these exercises may be the only ones that can help you! So get the PDF, discover your vocal type,
and start practicing the exercises. IF YOU LIKED THIS VIDEO, PLEASE GIVE IT A
