"Young fella I'm gonna twist off you head, and spike it onto the floors of a nightmare you can't even imagine. I will dance with you inside of the six sided ring of fire unless you move from this area far and fast. NOW!"

This got to me pretty well. He died when I was young and had an effect on me. John Candy did too. It really took something from the world.

Don't know how Adam kept it together, I'm just a fan like most other people and I'm welling up like he was a friend of mine gone too soon

Tommy boy was my favorite movie growing up and I watched it with my grandfather. I still throw out lines with my dad. Seeing this makes me cry because of all these changes.

Oh man im laying here crying i didnt know the man and i was a little kid when he died but no matter how shitty im feeling i just look up chris Farley video he makes me laugh tommy boy the most r.i.p chris you're still making people laugh till this day

Grownups 3, you use Chris Farleys voice……you could make any lines you fuckin wanted and you have him as some kinda spirit haunting your damn vacation driving the fellas mad until they wind up IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!…….joke of course I'm sure you could do something better but please with all the tech we have now we just need one more Farley movie done by his friends.

Chris was the GOD of SNL. No offense but he was the best. Gave it his all everytime! Loved his movies!!! Me and Sandman wish you were in Grown Ups. Kevin James is funny but we ALL know that should be CHRIS MUTHAFUKIN FARLEY.

If anyone doesn’t know he died from drug over dose it’s a tradgedy that such a bad thing took someone so good god bless everyone please stay off drugs

This was sooo beautiful, adam did amazing holding back tears, and I love how he tells his kids about his friend, chris would.have been in every adam movie

If you have one good friend in life like Chris Farley was to Adam Sandler then that’s all you’ll ever need to get thru all kinds of shit

He lived to fast I used to live that way to fight my misery party all day long I sobered up though because ended up a strung out drunk my best friend told me I would be dead by 25 from liver failure

So all Chris Farley's 'friends' would laugh and let him be the life of the party…but not one of them made an effort to an intervention to get Chris serious help with his drug and alcohol issue. But oh now 20 some years later, let's do a music tribute and pretend to be choked up….seems like Sandlers Jewish guilt finally caught up with him…

There's more to Adam Sandler that meets the eye. A year hence I'd bet we'll be referring to him as Oscar Winner, Adam Sandler.

Thank you Adam, and thank you Chris For a lifetime of endless laughs and memories for generations to see. 😥 38 years old and teary eyes like a baby. This is friendship beyond friendship

Chris still lives in all our hearts and has been immortalized in his films. He lives on every time I pop in my copy of Tommy Boy.

They were like brothers. The entire group. Unlike Murray and Chase these guys loved each other and loved working WITH each other. Not for or above the other person. I grew up watching Chevy Chase and Bill Murray but their BITTER BS made it a joke. But when you look at this group you see friendship. They didnt play games with each other's egos. A true group of FRIENDS. Adam never ever forgets his start either. Rob Schneider was in many Happy Madison produced movies as well as so many others. Adam Sandler is a REAL STAR. A FRIEND. A BROTHER. I could only imagine what Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, and Rob Schneider could have done had this been different. Sadly we wont ever know. God Bless you Chris. And God Bless Adam for being a true friend.

Idk how Sandler kept it together for this. I’d be ugly crying within the first verse. True homie to rep his boy after 20 years.

Comparing this to his Netflix special you can tell actually being back at SNL and performing it meant something even more. Also more intimate performing it for a small audience on a stage they actually shared…that's gotta be rough to get through without breaking, and even still you could see he was on the verge a few times. And I think that makes this performance that much more special.

Must be surreal to have a friend who you shared the best and most iconic memories with just all of the sudden not be there anymore.

I'm just asking why ANYONE would give this a thumbs down?????

For those who did, I'm not going to bash you, I'm just curious why????

"Slow down, you'll end up like Belushi and Candy"

even more heartbreaking when you find out that Chris Farley and John Belushi died the exact same way, and the same age at 33.

I didn’t even know the guy and this made me tear up. I can only imagine what it does to people who knew him well

I didn't really care for Farley, but to hear Sandler's heart break during this song fucking destroyed me. Can't imagine whats it like losing a best friend.

“Slow down, you’ll end up like Belushi and Candy”.
“Those guys are my heroes; that’s all fine and dandy”.

That right there is so depressing, the fact that no matter how many times he was put through rehab, he was content with dying the way his idols did just because they were his idols. And knowing that his agent was also John Belushi’s agent makes the whole situation all the more tragic.
